Advantages

  • Low pressure drop
  • Double faceguard
  • Longer operating life
  • Individually tested according to EN 1822

More information

Camfil Farr’s Megalam Panel Filter MG meets the highest demands for filter performance in a minimum pressure drop design, a frame height of 110 mm and the possibility to combine a PU gasket, gel gasket and knife edge. The filter pack is based on a 90 mm pack height and has an optimum pressure drop development.

The filter consists of micro-glass fibre media in efficiencies from 95% to 99.999995% @ MPPS (filter classes E10-U17 according to EN 1822).

The media is pleated using Camfil Farr’s Controlled Media Spacing™ technology. CMS™ ensures optimized filter element depth and pleat spacing, resulting in minimized configuration losses and low resistance to air flow. Continuous hotmelt separators ensure uniform pleat spacing and form a rigid self-supported media pack. Media-to-media contact, and associated fibre break-off, is eliminated.

Megalam MG has a heavy-duty, lightweight anodized aluminium frame for high-strength and ease of installation. The frame corners are secured with Camfil Farr’s exclusive clip-lock™ mechanism for module durability and long-term integrity.

The media pack is potted with Camfil Farr’s CamPure™ polyurethane sealant.

Megalam MG is tested using Camfil Farr’s AUTO-SCAN™ automated leak detection system. Filters are serialized and all data are provided on a label on the filter, with each filter being delivered with a separate protocol.
