Filter Housings (Steel)

The AFZ bag filter housings are available in size 1 & 2. They are manufactured in 316 stainless steel with flanges, conform to PED 97/23/EC category II / III and can accommodate a temperature range of 10/150 °C. Design pressure is -1/10 barg.

These housings are suitable for filtering hazardous and non-hazardous liquids. They have hinged eye bolts for ease of use with a strong stainless steel mesh support basket as standard. All housings have fully adjustable legs. The AFZ bag filter housing is also available with an ATEX certification which conforms to EXII 2G T4 as per the EC Directive 94/9/EC.

The ATEX Ex standard indicates industrial equipment, category 2 which is suitable for gases, vapours and mists with a maximum surface temperature of 135 °C.

The filter is suitable for explosive environments caused by gases and mists that occur occasionally in zone 1 as described in directive 99/92/EC.
